mytime
Hi all, I've just received my Deep Sea V5 from Chris. Which coulour is supposed to be the caseback? My faux titanium caseback is light grey, more or less the same tone as the Steel, while watching the pics it should be darker, almost black. To tell the truth I've never had a gen o a rep Deep See in my hands, so I'm not sure. I'll take some pics asap. Thanks

gioarmani
It is supposed to be substantially darker than the steel. Here's the gen for comparison:
lanikai
depending on the lighting..it should be dark grey (in shade) and in straight on light a lighter shade of medium grey.

cskent69
Here is my ETZ V5: Looks fine to me. If this is the new v5 you should post pictures of the front if you can. Plenty of us would like to see that too. Thanks
jmb
Nah, mine's about a month and a half old so it's at least 3 iterations behind!

Guest techlogik
The bezel insert looks good on this one. 10 is aligned and even spacing. Pearl...etc... When you got a chance can you do a straight on dial shot?

lanikai
The colour of the case back should be sort of like a hollogram effect.. dark staight on and when you turn the watch it should change shades to a lighter shade of grey when the case back is almost viewed straight on in good lighting the font on the insert should not be white .. more a light ash colour, and a bit thicker than the V3 version but not too much thicker.. the DSSD insert font is on the medium thick font and the pearl should have a translucent effect .. a clear coating on top and when looking at the pearl form a horizontal line .. the pearl: the clear coating should not be visible. gioarmani
Its nothing like mine the bezel numbers and markers are much thicker! And not so white! It appears that way because it's shot wide-angle, macro, and with a flash.
