dadog13 Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 i love it!....it is definitely on my wishlist....i am not sure if the chrono version is already out...but it is also a beauty! wear it well!
robertk Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 It's great looking. Not to bust a bubble, but when will they come out with the correct version where the XI touches the XII like the original. Still one of my favorites.
Linder Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Very nice watch in person and the pics look good too. Enjoy!
kaiowas Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 do u have prob with the stiching on the strap? mine got worse stiching.
eddhead Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 Great watch. Is this the Josh version?
rocket754 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 The Santos is just a great watch. Classic. Now if we could just get the dial project completed or off the ground for that matter....
Defender110 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 @cwai02 -overall impressions? i have tried the gen on several times and really would like to get this item... dial will be upgraded once that project gets off the ground but the dial is decent and is similar enough to the dumont that only a WIS would know... but how about the overall feel of the item and finish? its on my wish list and depending on your response i will jump on or off. j
rocket754 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 next purchase should be the real croc strap from HKTAN.
james93921 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 It's great looking. Not to bust a bubble, but when will they come out with the correct version where the XI touches the XII like the original. Still one of my favorites. I was looking at this site for a long time trying to figure out if I wanted a REP or a GEN. I just purchased a GEN Santos 100 (Medium). The pics are great! The watch looks awesome. But it is very noticeable that it is a rep. The roman numerals are positioned wrong. The Cartier logo is too low on the face. Even the gem on the REP sticks out. I'm sure a "like-GEN" face will come out soon. Don't get me wrong, it looks great! I love my my Catrier Santos 100. It's a great watch.
Watchmeister Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Now go take a look at the Santos Chrono with 7753 movement (same as gen movement). Reps have come a long way both in quality and price. No one can accuse you of not using the search function.
