Has anyone attempted a Rolex 3135 Swap in the DSSD Rep?

I mean the real movement...not the new asian fake decorated one...

Would it fit? Need hands? Any ideas on this?

I am not sure the crown position is correct. Also, the feet on the eta dial would not work. I assume the hands would not fit either.

Hands wouldn't work, crown position would probably be off, dial feet would be off

I think is too bad the internal construction of the actual rep DSSD for your project , different sizes, internal structure is not 1-1 to the gen, too many things to change...

Not sure why you'd put an $1800 movement in a $40 case. Believe I'd be looking for a gen case on the bay to put it in.

Just thinking. If an IWC 79320...which is a hopped up Valjoux 7750, which the rep comes with an A7750 clone...it is a direct fit, everything perfect.

Wondering if they got the case/dial close enough to put the real movement in. The dial could be worked to fit the movement and attach it, but if the crown is off...that is a big problem, along with date window, then getting hands etc...sounds like a lot of franken work and not worth the trouble.

Hey, since it has a decorated Asian movement, that should be good enough right?!?!
