Hi Guys --

I can't seem to find the tutorial or info on this one...i am looking to decase a broken chrono a7750 and just need to know what position to put the stem/crown in prior to releasing it with the stem release button?...subsequently, when re-inserting it, what's the process?...

Please advise and/or point to the right tutorial...

Much appreciated...

Per Zigmeister, from the "winding" position. Remember not too push too hard or you will kill the keyless works...

excellent...thanks, P!...winding, not time-setting...got it!... :thumbsupsmileyanim:

upon re-insertion, does it go all the way or just to the winding position, then?... :g:

thanks...R

Ditto...don't have too much time here...winding position...on re-insertion...doesn't matter as winding position is all the way in hence no ability to knock anything out by pushing too hard. The screw in position is essentially winding position without the clutch engaged on the spring inside the crown...so yes...it goes all the way in.

Question closed!...

Just found this quote in a post by The Zigmeister:

"Excellent news.

Remember, winding position only for stem removal." :)
