Guest techlogik
Brand new 2824-2 from Ofrei. Pull the crown out, date changes fine. Then hack it, turn it for the time to see when it is going to change the date at midnight..and it never does. Got a 4813..works fine. Anybody got ideas? The 3135 that came with my DSSD had hosed up keyless works, so I got this movement to swap, change the date wheel...can't get to the point to put the hands on if the date won't change ever while setting time?!?! Edit: hmmm...guess the hands won't fit anyway. Unless that other wheel is supposed to replace the one it comes with to handle a larger diameter hand? Thanks
Francisco
there is a gear that has a "nose". That nose pushes the DW at midgnight. It seems that this gear is not rotating when the watch runs. I think no more can be said without inspecting the movememnt. FxrAndy
Why dont you just fix the keyless works on the a3135, you have to take the dial and hands off any way to change movement!
highoeyazmuhudee
the date change gear could be out of its pivot socket. The slightest touch could push it out just enough to not change over, however it may look like its sitting correctly since it works with a tiny pin to keep it cented and balanced. Unless you plan to return it to Otto, disassemble to reset it, observe how it interacts with the copper spring arm to determine to error. If you wanna pay the shipping both ways I could try and fix your 3135 for you.
