It's going into a Eddie Lee 127. I'm going to try and source a gen CG and crystal (in that order). Put on some DSN hands and call it a keeper.

Where do you think gen parts come from? Parts have to come from somewhere. You can't just call up panerai and order a replacement movement. The watch had no box or papers so the price was right.

miles, how do you take these close up pics? do you use a P&S or a DSLR with macro lens?

i tried taking some macros with my dad's D300 with a macro lens.. but i couldn't get it this close :(

are you taking a macro shot then cropping it?

I use a standard canon dslr with a reverse ring. What that does is mount the lens on the camera backwards. Do a search in the camera section, pugwash did a great tutorial on this.
