and another very nice pam 48

Just some pics of my wifes pam 48.

What did I do with it:

Relumed dial and hands with C3

Gen strap

Gen deployment

Lello date wheel

Chiefs AR

Chiefs Cyclops

New crown (I have bought it as a gen but have my doubts)

Modded CG

Serviced movement

If I compare it to the gen of a friend of mine, I'm really thinking of removing one AR layer to make it more gen like.

Ciao,

Sander

Great watch lot of hard work in that congrats.

I had Chiefs AR on mine and took it off the outer crystal must say it looks the same next to my gen PAM now

Veeeeerrryyyy nice! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I must say that I really like it with double AR... I think they should start Double-ARing the gens as well. :whistling:

Biggest issue I have with Cheifs double AR is the more minor dial flaws can be more obvious on a PAM rep. And I dont think gens need it especially with the thickness and the corundum (not sure if I spelt that right) and slight distortion but hey thats my opinion.

Phenomenal watch, very well done. You are correct about the A/R though, since the old 048/050 rep is matriculated as a 'C' series it's not supposed to have any A/R. The first time Panerai used A/R was in 'D' series. It would be a shame to strip it though as it looks tres exellent. On the other end of the spectrum my MBK PAM 48 is a 'K' series which comes with no A/R. Great crystal and cyclops though. Maybe we should do a swap :thumbsupsmileyanim:
