JohnDorian Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 The pushers don't seem to stick out enough.
rosnik Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 No Guy, This seller case is perfect, gen like in measures. The pusher are the same. I checked jet before buy!
Watchmeister Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Congrats on a beautiful piece. Wear that one well.
JohnDorian Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 No Guy, This seller case is perfect, gen like in measures. The pusher are the same. I checked jet before buy! Hmm gen sitting on my wrist right now The pushers are definitely taller. The crown cuts also don't seem quite as deep or sharp. Very nice rep though. I'm curious if the movements Concepta are getting are post or pre 2007. In 2007 IWC started receiving fully made movements from ETA and they don't modify them anymore. Pre 2007 IWC only received ETA ebauche kits and did all the modifications and extra QC themselves.
rosnik Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 IWC GEN movement are foul modded ( from IWC )on Eta/Valjoux base. The difference and improvement from standard Eta/Valjoux are a lot. When I'll got back my Ingy I'll get some extra MACRO pictures about pushers...
JohnDorian Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Yes, it used to be IWC did the modification themselves before 2007. After then, IWC has been receiving fully modified movements completed from ETA and not doing their own set of modifications and QC. Pushers look definitely shallower than a gen: http://cdn2.overstock.com/images/products/L10469819.jpg
dluddy Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Wear it well. Came out beautifully. Congrats to all involved

JohnDorian Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I'm not sure you understand. 1. IWC before 2007 did the seconds at 6 modification as well replace parts and do extra QC that greatly decreased internal friction. 2. Post 2007, ETA did the modifications for 6 without all the extra QC that IWC did. This has to do with ETA stopping shipments of ebauches and as a cost saving measure for IWC.
rosnik Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 I'm not sure you understand, too. I got infos directly from IWC factory... What you suppose is not correct........sorry.
JohnDorian Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Ah I see. Well it is the prevailing information at both TZ and WUS, but maybe you have more info than the mods there.
rosnik Posted January 21, 2010 Author Report Posted January 21, 2010 I received yesterday , like I promised that's the pictures. Domi, preferred to frozen Sec at six hand to void problems with this movement, next steep GEN movement. Nota the Gen dial and hands beauty. thank you DOMENICO!
Mickey Padge Posted January 21, 2010 Report Posted January 21, 2010 I hope you don't mind, I tweaked the pictures a little bit Very nice work as always!
rosnik Posted January 21, 2010 Author Report Posted January 21, 2010 Thank you Mickey.! The next time I'll sent picture directly to you.
