Ebay Help Needed Please...

someone hacked my ebay account and purchased a rather large item using buy it now. i have notified ebay and the seller of the situation. i also upgraded my password but wondered if there is any else i should do.

As long as they haven't accessed your PP then you shouldn't have to many prob's, you say you changed your password just make sure your new PW is a goodie to stop them doing it again.

Hacked your password to make a "buy it now?" Nope -- I don't think so, there has to be more to it than this.

Are you sure that you aren't looking at a Phishing notification? That's what it sounds like to me.

If it was a Phish, did you click any links in that notification?

You're a sharp guy, but if you have any doubts at all, go directly to EBay, log in and change your password. If your new password does not work, you were phished and your old one will. Log in and change it asap.

If you can no longer log onto eBay, you have effectively lost that account. Still, it's the PayPal you should be worried about. Reverse the purchase immediately.

pp and bank accounts were not compromised, passwords are all different. i changed all my passwords just to be safe.
