Tribal Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 Hello Friends, an other project is done.... I want to have an old style Submariner with Non-SEL.... There was nothing on the market, thats the reason why i build this one by myself... For the case i took one of my old MBW cases with lugholes... I installed a Eta 2836-2 with new datewheel with open 6 and 9.... I take an spare dial (this on is incorrect because it must spell Swiss T <25) But i don`t find the correct one... Drilled out Lugholes, installed Gen Tube and crown, refinished the whole case also the Cg`s... New insert... And thats the result.... RG Tribal

I think you don`t need a new stem, take the old one.... and release on hack... To all of you thanks for your kind words... RG Tribal Edited September 4, 2006 by Tribal
HauteHippie Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 p.s. hey TRIBAL whats the best position to remove the winding stem on a eta 2836-2 movement ? power reserve , date , time or hack position? Yes. Just unscrew the crown, press the stem release, and pull. Out it will come.
HauteHippie Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 I take an spare dial (this on is incorrect because it must spell Swiss T <25) But i don`t find the correct one... What's this gen dial worth to you?
