prdubis
Hi there, I felt in love of this beautiful PAM026: But DNS rep has a bad CG, the lever is not fitted properly but upside down as I guess he uses a standard CG he just reverses: DSN 026 Anyone knows where to get the correct one? And what do you think of this rep? Thank you for your help before buying!
PeteM
They are very difficult to get hold of mate. I spent a long time getting my hands on a couple more by luck than judgement. Managed to get LHs last one for a similar project. Personally I would prefer to source the parts for this one rather than get DSNs though I may well use his dial despite the flaws probably send it to Zig or Vac. Get zig to PVD it from the same place OP used or go with Avitt for DLC (depending on your need for accuracy balanced against robustness of finish) I know when I was looking none of the better guys CG came in destro except LHs. So really check out sales forum and maybe get lucky mate. Certainly thats been my experience in the last few months. Now I have said that I bet they all appear
oncyte
DSN seems to be the only one who offers the 26k...only thing is his dial is very much flawed. Here is a pic of the dial....it's still nice...but just doesn't look anything like the gen.
prdubis
Just received a mail from DSN saying he can fit the lever up...CG is not symetrical, right? So it cannot be turned upside down, correct? About the dial flaws, can anyone tell me more? I can see the font and size of the letterings are not correct, anything else? (that's already a lot :-D )
milesd
If you look at more pictures of the Gen, you can see that the dial cutouts are different in shape than any other sandwich dial.
