Cats Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 I'm certainly not an expert but it doesn't look gen to me. For me a it's clear , when people try to sell a gen Rolex you at leastpost decent pics so you don't get suspicious. Also no feedback makes it i a bit tricky. Just my 2 cents Carpe Diem Cats
lanikai Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Also am not an expert, but it looks like a gen. the insert is a gen.. the indices look good.. the crown appears low due to the angle of the shot, imo.. but the crown itself looks good... as does the clasp. the only thing I would take issue with is this is the sellers first.. and on that alone I would be 50/50 on actually doing the deal..
alvinado Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 it is a wm9 damn, crown is too big, pearl is wrong..
gillorin Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Looks real to me but the photos aren't good enough to make me 100% positive.
kbh Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 WM9 has a very distinct case back compared to my other 2 subs. The lip on the case back where the case back meets the case on the WM9 is approx 1/2mm and on the others it's approx 1mm. From what you can see in the pictures I'd go with it's a WM9 case. Also as mentioned, the fit on the SEL is terrible.
highoeyazmuhudee Posted March 11, 2010 Author Report Posted March 11, 2010 wm9 has a distinct look in general, after building one it's hard to not recognize it at a glance. also there are no close ups of any stampings or markings. THIS IS A WM9, my instinct tells me so.
