kb1875
Hey guys, I need someone, who is able to fix my IWC Costeau Divers Collection 2006. After a rough New Year's evening, the wheel stopped turning. I tried my local watch smith, who isn't that skilled, and he said I should send it back the seller. Well, not that easy when it's a rep from China. Who should I contact in here for repair? I am willing to send it whereever and of course pay for it. Thanks,
Toadtorrent
Are you talking the inner rotating bezel is not working? Where are you located? If in the EU Domi and Francisco are the people to go to. In North America The Zigmeister is the man!
kb1875
Hey Toad, thank you so much! No, it's not the bezel - it's the entire movement that is not working. It's completely dead, I can rewind it, but nothing happens.
dvn
if you are in CONUS. Vac is the other option. Maybe you should upgrade the movement to swiss eta 7750 and vac can do that for you as well. He can provide a brand new movement for you too. Gook luck.
jchurch
I wasn't aware vac did movement swaps also. I might have to look into something like that. Anyone know if there is a flyback movement that will fit in the ferrari model lol?
Toadtorrent
Yeah...if only there were swiss options for some of these complications or a7750 modded movements (i.e. seconds at 6, seconds at 12, etc). Sigh...one can but dream.
jchurch
LOL hopefully sometime. Would be great if those existed. Hopefully some of the movement companies get some of those. I suspect they figure it isn't worth the money.
