Jkay
I picked up a beautiful UPO w/ clone mvmt from WatchWoot several months ago, and the only complaint I have so far is that the date change "time" keeps changing! At first, the date flipped at midnight, and then the next time I noticed it changing it was 7am .. this morning the date changed at 9am!! Any clues about this behavior? I've never heard of this particular malfunction.
maxman
I have never heard of this happening before. It might be a good Idea to post this In the movement Q&A section, good luck
FxrAndy
The rest of the watch is still keeping good time? Sounds like the date change wheel is slipping or not seated correctly, I had this on a 2892 that was servicing, the intermediate gear between the hour wheel and date change wheel was not sitting flush. FxrAndy
What movement is it any way, clone 2824?
14060 or 16610?
Date wheel is slipping. The change will occur later and later. I have seen this before. The problem is that the gear teeth are not fully meshing, either that or there could be some damaged or missing teeth. Continuing to use it in this manner may eventually cause permanent damage. Jkay
What movement is it any way, clone 2824? Sorry I don't recall, and daytona4me closed his doors last month, after too many obnoxious customers took away his morale + something about his health When I get my toolset from Offshore, I'll let you know. It's as smooth as the ETA in my V5 to wind.
