AlexLeGrande Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 This "new improved" movement is now being shown by several dealers in the IWC Portugese. Forum members have long dealt with the seconds at 6 problem of the older, less jeweled (27?, 21? can't remember) movement, stating the transfer gear allowing seconds at the 6 o'clock position had no jewel and thus no lubrication, which caused the failure of the seconds at 6 function. Does anyone know if this new movement will fix this problem?
mactower Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I believe it is still seriously flawed. I'll see if I can pull up the link...
gran Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 One word: Paperweight sad but true...a very very nice paperweight in the end if we just do not buy these watches the replicamakers will be forced to truly improve them (have no idea if thats really possible) or simply give it up to the Frankens to solve the holy grail of reps this one
mactower Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I would buy one in every colour if they could get the movement reliable! Until then...
