In need of a Explorer II polar dial

Looking for a polar dial fo a noob case with the BLACK indices. Anyone have one?

AFAIK, there are no rep dials with truly black indices for an Explorer II. They are all more of a gunmetal color. That's why in all the reviews of the Explorer II it's recommended to buy the black faced version of the watch.

You have to find a gen dial if you want true black. You also have to have the 'old' case version of the watch, because the gen dial won't fit the newer noob case. Have seen some gorgeous frankens posted, and I have it on my project list for sometime down the road.

Thanks Tom,I have a noob Exp and really like it save the gunmetal indices. I guess I will have to either hunt for a franken or live with it.....

I have a cheap rep Explorer II white dial, and I'm thinking of painting and reluming the indices. I'll let you know how it goes if I ever get around to it.
