By-Tor Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 This just sold on WUS. 42mm, automatic. Pretty weird & rough looking TAG but also quite attractive. Has anyone owned one of these? I've never seen this before... just curious.
maxman Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Nope, cant say as I have seen this model before. It is a Interesting design, I kind of like It. Mike
denniboss Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 This one was on the market in the late '90's.
gillorin Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 This one was on the market in the late '90's. I believe even earlier than that. This was the first "Genuine" watch I purchased, when I was 16, and I believe then it was around 5 years old. (that would put it from around 1994-1995) I paid something like $400 for it... they came up once in a while and usually cheap... I didn't really know why back then nor do I now, but they're worth considerably more. Sort of like the Omega Dynamic, those were in the $500+/- range for a while too, then got quite a bit more expensive. Never bought one of those, though.
fakemaster Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Wow. Haven't seen one of those in a while.
marrickvilleboy Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 actually on the verge of getting a rep of this watch. Comes in the mail next week. Will update with pics then.
Slartibartfast Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 I love the dial / lume / hands on this model, and have seen them around for some time. It's the bezel that doesn't quite do it for me though. They always seem to sell for less than you would expect IMO.
marrickvilleboy Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 The genuine watch is actually a one-piece case with access to the movement via the bezel-crystal-dial. Very neat. The replica I'm getting is not one piece but from the front-on, looks decent. Will upload pics when I get it
