The new Palp/Marcus Crown

Just received the new Palp/Marcus crown...

Side by side with a standard rep crown...

I'd love to see a side-by-side with a T48, or even a JacksonTse SS manual wind crown, as that particular rep crown looks pretty bad to begin with.

Here are some shot of the new Palp/Marcus crown installed on my DSN 027a

Looks really good, I prefer it to the T48 crown, and the lever pushes slightly against the crown now

The 'neck' on the back of the crown still appears to be too thin, this causes the crown to sit closer to the case than it really should. Not a big deal for most of the folks out there, anyway.

That said the crown looks OK, it's slightly wider than the gen, but should compensate well for slightly larger CG crown cavities on LHero and Torobravo pre-V CGs.
