offshore
I see that Samsung have issued some health warnings re the use of 3D TV. http://www.samsung.com/au/tv/warning.html I was particularly concerned with the one which warned against watching after consuming alcohol. Sort of means, I at least, could never use the item! Offshore

highoeyazmuhudee
i checked out the demo at bestbuy it was underwhelming.. IN FACT, the glasses added an unnatural tint to the viewing experience and they sure did flicker a lot at the sides... like a 60hz CRT even tho it was 120hz LCD. DISTRACTING, also looked faked as hell, like a kids pop up book, no REAL depth perception is added and the bluray movie was made especially to demo its ability. went back later that day the glasses were already broken and fixed with duct tape where the usb cable connects them to the player or tv. whole package price for tv with player and glasses OVER $5K hah! the technology is not quite there yet, early adopters STAY AWAY. even if the technology were better; the glasses are distracting and the WHOLE thing is VERY gimmicky.
