SubFrog Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 I really wish you didn't post such fantastic photos. Regardless, beautiful watch...real nice photos! The favorite of my collection.
Everythingape Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Of course it would be your favourite, green frog. Why is it called "Lunette Verte"? Doesn't that mean "green glass"? "Monture Verte" would be better "Imma put my MV on!" I don't know french that well btw..
Pugwash Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Why is it called "Lunette Verte"? Lunette means bezel. Glasses (Lunettes) are made of two glassed bezels. As for the photos, the master at work.

Its called lunett verte, because it has a green bezel, and lunette is another word for bezel, and verte is french for green! And TTK uses french, because he wants to show us that he's a renaissance-man Edited September 13, 2006 by slay
Iztok Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 Impressive, TTK... But you need to refresh your knowledge about perspectives, all photos of watches you are posting are in isometric projection, but the we want the orthographic projection*... *Show the object as it looks from the front, right, left, top, bottom, or back (with the 90° angle according to your camera.
gran Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Looks like money to me..its green so it must be US$

Lunette actually means pretty much any round hoop, and it literally means small moon or moon-shaped.
kingkitesurf Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 I got that one coming in... We have here the answer on who has the best... TTK has the best... Those pictures are sickening... Pugs and TTK have the best shots...
Pugwash Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Those pictures are sickening... Pugs and TTK have the best shots... I'll be getting my LV at the end of the month, so I'll have my own pics up soon. I can tell you now: they'll not be this good. The only thing I manage to do better is image hosting. Poor Imagebucket.

What do glasses have to do with this bezel
Pugwash Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 U did say that, after your explanation I get it, but the way you said it I was like WTF? What do glasses have to do with this bezel I think I was preoccupied when I wrote it. It was rather ambiguous.
Linder Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 I think I was preoccupied when I wrote it. You ordered a bar girl from Sash, too? I'm still working on my review.. just need her to let me get some sleep so I can put the words together properly!
