Rolex Lunette Verte

Lunette means bezel. Glasses (Lunettes) are made of two glassed bezels.

As for the photos, the master at work.

LOL, what?

Its called lunett verte, because it has a green bezel, and lunette is another word for bezel, and verte is french for green!

And TTK uses french, because he wants to show us that he's a renaissance-man ;)

Impressive, TTK...

But you need to refresh your knowledge about perspectives, all photos of watches you are posting are in isometric projection, but the we want the orthographic projection*...

*Show the object as it looks from the front, right, left, top, bottom, or back (with the 90° angle according to your camera.

:bleh::p:whistling:;)

Didn't I say that while also explaining why glasses are called Lunettes?

Lunette actually means pretty much any round hoop, and it literally means small moon or moon-shaped.

Those pictures are sickening... Pugs and TTK have the best shots... :D

I'll be getting my LV at the end of the month, so I'll have my own pics up soon. I can tell you now: they'll not be this good. :blink:

The only thing I manage to do better is image hosting. Poor Imagebucket. :(

U did say that, after your explanation I get it, but the way you said it I was like WTF? What do glasses have to do with this bezel ;)
