lecatt
Found this whilst trawling the net, the lack of knowledge by sellers in the 'real' watch game, of rep watches, really suprises me! Wonder where he ordered from - made to order in 3 weeks My link
jmarin.72
Wow!!! all the things we didn't know about fake Rolex watches 1. Rolex watches are fitted with a sapphire crystal (the glass face of the watch) that can only be scratched with a diamond. 6. If you remove a Rolex bracelet you should find the watch’s case number and model number engraved on the side at six o’clock and 12 o’clock . 4. The genuine Rolex movement sweeps smoothly round at about 28,800 revs per hour – each second is broken down into eight steps. Even when a fake uses a Swiss-made movement, the second hand’s ticking is usually visibly jerky. So i guess my old school noob 16570 must be a gen according to these statements!!! The left one could have fooled me though...sels are so nicely done I really love articles like this one!!! Thanks for sharing L

Rxus
And for all we know, he is current member of RWG and is the proud owner of many "genuine" replica's..You know , the Ultimate _________. I find it funny that he mentiones that those 2 watches having swiss movements when for all intent purposes are Asian 21j powered.
Member X
Rase in platinum price perhaps? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Platinum_prices_91-07.JPG You might be right if that graph continues on it's last trajectory! I wonder how much platinum is in/on a dial?
jmarin.72
You might be right if that graph continues on it's last trajectory! I wonder how much platinum is in/on a dial? The YM bezel is also made of platinum as well and since this is a ROLEX regardless the quantity of this precious metal used what you pay are the marketing costs and the brand name. But this is a long long story!!! And i agree that this kind of price difference in two years time is kinda strange.
