I finally received several emails from George today, about the SD project, the V-serial 16610 and to order a Z-serial 16613...

Dear Sir:

Thank you for your email.

Regarding your batch of order on the Sea Dweller 16600 was originally

estimated to be made around early May.

However, right now we are experiencing delay due to delayed dial replacement.

We are waiting for the shipment to come in and once it arrives we will

be able to resume the assembly.

We will provide a new update on estimated shipment once we have a

better idea on the replacement dial schedule.

We apologize for the long wait and please let me know if there is any

question and I'd be glad to assist you further.

Well I got an Email answer from George today, a little different wording, but essentially the same.Here is my email and his reply.From the sound of this, the project is still having problems. I will be pleasantly surprised if these watches are shipped this calendar year. What I find amazing is that George has done quite a lot of projects in the past, and while most have experienced some degree of delay, the past few projects all seem to be dragging along very slowly. the LV Sub,the TT Sub and especially the SD 16600.
