signumboy Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 As the title says. Any idea what it is , and is it any good.
FxrAndy Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 It is an ETA 2824 or 36 or a very nicly finished clone but i would say gen ETA and yes it is good as long as it is serviced
slickdick Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) You will have to make better pics showing the balance. I think its a clone. Edited June 7, 2010 by slickdick
jdavis Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 looks like 2824-2 see pic Definitely an ETA 2824-2 that is plated and decorated. Likely one of the higher grade 2824 movements and Tag signed. I doubt seriously if this would be a clone movement.
slickdick Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 Shock system doesnt look swiss, but pictures arent conclusive. Anways the tag signed plate on rotor is in fact a stick on.
signumboy Posted June 8, 2010 Author Report Posted June 8, 2010 I really don't think it's a sticker as it's engraved, and the rotor has a swirl pattern. and it looks part of the swirl

When we say stick on.. we mean that YES it's made of metal and engraved.. but it's just an engraved metal plate stuck on top of the actual rotor. Very common in reps
