usctrojans11 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Did one of the factories finally fix the problem? Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
usctrojans11 Posted June 10, 2010 Author Report Posted June 10, 2010 It should also be noted this dealer also has the only correct version of the Tour Auto 2009, my favorite. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
gran Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Great that they are fixing stuff...but I am not too crazy about all that red on the watches (and I support a red team)
Dani Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 i heard rumours some time ago that the DW was about to get fix.
ExtraExtra Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Is the placement of the date window corrected too or only the date wheel font?
Guest Sql_pl Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Hmm what do you mean? I see it is still too far to the right?
Jon Martin Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Who is this dealer one of the dealers on this site? The window position is still the same to me.
usctrojans11 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Report Posted June 11, 2010 No its exclusively through Chinese site Taobao. I alerted King about it and shes jumping on top of it being the first person to grab the correct audemars. Shes placed orders for me. The date wheel is still slight off but now atleast theres a space between the DW and the inner bezel insert.

Watchmeister Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Unless they have made a new movement my guess is they have simply narrowed the spread on the inner bezel (effectively steepening the rehaut) so I am guessing it is pick your poison.
Dani Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 so I am guessing it is pick your poison. Thats always the case it seems whit this reps.
senator Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 no changes for the sec@12. i was in chat with my dealer in HK!!! senator: that's why i'm asking you for one dial with the correct datewheel spacing that your manufactorer produce once for me costum made!! Phu.: ok,I will let you our boss know senator: sounds great!! Phu: he will contact his factory and will be do it senator: wow!!! @least: Phu: sorry, can not, friend that means, no changes in the past guys!!!!!!!
usctrojans11 Posted June 12, 2010 Author Report Posted June 12, 2010 No offense but maybe your dealer isn't all knowing. You'll see these watches start hitting the larger sites soon, the factories don't want to release it yet since it makes their current models useless and thats alot of lost revenue. King had to go through alot to get one and they aren't really releasing until next year.
senator Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 i hope so usctrojans11!! i will finish my RBII project!!! But the tenor sounds different!!! And this guys knows the market!! this is the OEM-Modul (Dubios Dèpraz) for the sec@12 AP'S!
usctrojans11 Posted June 12, 2010 Author Report Posted June 12, 2010 Alright, well I placed an order. We'll see how it turns out.
usctrojans11 Posted June 19, 2010 Author Report Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) Cool - keep us informed! Got it in from King today. Very fast shipping. Paid Sunday and arrived on Thursday morning. The secs @12 runs really smooth, the case is titanium but they brushed it or did something to it to make it darker so it looks like the Tour Auto 2009. All in all, this is a beautiful watch. There is also a correct date wheel though its hard to tell with the black background. Another improvement from last year's secs @12 is the engraved clasp instead of laser etched. Also the lume is alot better, all I need is AR and thats just a preference issue. Enjoy the pictures. Edited June 19, 2010 by usctrojans11
cskent69 Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 Wow - this looks great. I assume that the date numbers are really centered - and that it is off due to the slow date change at 11pm? Could yo do a picture at 7PM?
cskent69 Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 Do they have any other models with this fix?
mumum Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Will be looking out for my next AP Thanks! Any update when it Will be available and which models yet?
