stilty
Anyone know if the 1655 EXII case is the same as the 1675 GMT case? I know they use the same crystal, crown, gaskets, as well as the same 1575GMT movement. Is the only difference the engravings? The the dial diameters the same? Thanks! ubiquitous
T- The gen 1655 and 1675 cases are a bit different. The 1675 has a thinner profile, CGs are more upturned on the bottom and rehaut is much more shallow. Also, the 1675 uses the 5.3mm crown while the 1655 uses the 6mm crown. flex
I only know that some gen owners would get Gen 1655 service Bezel and Gen 1655 service dial to convert their 1675 into a 1655 for a new look flex
stilty
right! the 5.3mm crown... silly me! and just two days ago my buddy stopped by to show me his '64 gmt.... with the 5.3mm crown. I was just curious... and too lazy to dig up some pics for comparison. I haven't really studied the 1675 too closely, but I may have a spare 1655 case.
