ubiquitous
Sorry... Didn't mean to cut the last post short. Was heading out the door with the wife and son to go play in the park... Didn't have enough time to complete the full post. Anyhow... A genuine 179160 measures at 26mm; so the 26mm measurement of the rep is correct. However... If you are looking for something larger, I'm not aware of any of the 31mm Oysters having been repped as of yet. If you want something slightly bigger, you could do a frankenstein 15000 DATE model, which measures in at 33mm. Basically, this would require a gen case kit, which usually sells for around $200 - $300, an ETA 2824, Dateoverlay and hands from a Tudor Oyster Prince- It would be all genuine on the exterior, but ETA on the interior. Here is a Franken-DateJust I did using the formula above. For the money, it's one of the best frankensteins to put together. The 33mm DATE would be the same concept. Hope this helps... alligoat
Isn't Bestswiss a little more expensive than Wo-mart, even tho they're both Paul's deal?

GTS
Just measured my wife's from EL... 26mm w/o crown 28mm w/ crown 6mm tall from the surface of the caseback to the top surface of the crystal For the Diameter isn't 26MM just the measurement from one end of the glass to the other end? It's not suppose to be including the bezel or the crown? So if the watch is 31mm then thats only the diameter of the sapphire correct? Am I not correct? GTS
Nope. I measured one edge of the case to the other; excluded the crown at 26mm. I always was not sure where to measure from. So for watches like the Breitling Navitimer at 41mm it is from one edge of the case to the other right? Thanks for the info my friend.
Linder
Unless the size mentions with the crown, cases are usually measured from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock.
