Cubeistan
Got me Honpo 187 yesterday via K_W & can't get enough of it . Maybe others out there like the 187 too much too. If you've one now, or had one you miss, post it here.

Watchmeister
I am a huge fan. Although it is long gone to another forum member here is one I did years ago using the 7753 dial and movement fitted into the original legendary Honpo case:

prdubis
Are the 7753 versions all from Honpo, or did cartel make some?
mellons
any contact details for honpo?
Watchmeister
Honpo never made a 7753 version. Our regular dealers all had/have the 7753. The trade off is that the case on the 7753 is inferior to the 7750. That was why I went to the trouble to fit the dial and movement into an old case. Eton
Thanks for the link Andei...so there are two versions from the looks of it...7750 ($376USD) & 7753 ($1200USD)...WOW!!! Yeah, that's not cheap! Guess ya have to live with the sunken date wheel...or give up a kidney! But I'm sure there's a dw mod, like for the GMT 88 or 89. I converted yen to USD, it's yen right?
