spadddd
I'm interested in buying a Speedmaster automatic day/date rep. Several of the big sites offer what seems to be the same watch powered by the "Asia 7751" Valjoux clone. Does anyone know if this is a 28.8k movement or do all these auto day/date reps still use the 21.6k? For $300+ I certainly don't want a 21.6k movement. Here's an example of what I'm looking at: Speedmaster day/date from watcheden
FxrAndy
I think these should be 28800.
Ronin
Buying the 21.6 version will allow you to swap a Gen 7750 movement easier as the hand sizes are 1:1 compatible. Most newer reps are the newer 28.8's though.
subbiesrock
I have a Breitling Datora with a 7751, they are identical movements to the Speedie, and mine sounds like a 21.6k. I'm not sure that they've been replicated with a 28k move yet.
