HauteHippie
Interested. Alot of those are not commonplace. I could go broke trying these bottles, so if you have any idea of pricing I'm ready to listen!

HauteHippie
Speaking of whisky... At Costco the other day I saw a Kirkland (Costco brand name) scotch bottled by Macallan. It was a 16 yr sherry cask.... Price was $80 or so. I thought that was pretty tempting. I'd expect a 16 yr Macallan to be pushing $130ish normally. Ronin
I will keep you posted Chief, I am heading down my buddy's store shortly. Will get prices. If you have not had red wine casked Scotches you are in for a treat. I got hooked on Port Barrel based ones about a year ago. Also the Sherry casks impart great flavors. I am dying to try the D'Yquem based ones. I have had both a 1967 D'Yquem and 1983 D'Yquem in the last year or so, and the wine is a rock star for dessert.... I will keep you posted.
