unkul
I have been modding my cg and the screws or screw holes have got stripped. Absolutly gutted. What is my best plan of action to sort this. Tia
nix
I had a 111h sourced from Sead and it came with one stripped CG screw. I thought it was the case that was stripped, but Sead said it was most likely the screws and he sent me 2 new screws. They went in perfectly.. so it seems the screws are usually the culprit. (over tightening) Try contacting your dealer for some extra CG screws and see if that works.
panerai153
generally, and I say this because it isn't always the case, the screw is softer than the stainless steel case body. I have found this in the case of threaded lug bars. The screw threads will strip before the lug threads. So I would follow the advice of the poster above, get a few extra screws from your dealer. If the screw holes are stripped out on the case, then I would suspect your only alternative is to recut the threads and try to find a screw that will work.
