HauteHippie Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Very cool. Which case is that? What's the story with the insert? Definitely an interesting aging pattern there. Love the dial and the 9315. All around, a real great looking piece. Congrats!
RYM Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Posted September 12, 2010 i Leave the case an bezel submerged in water , salt, vinegar and few drops of nitric acid, but apparently I'm passing of salt , because one side dipped more than the other side of bezel. case yuki
highoeyazmuhudee Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 case yuki that was my guess. fits gen movement but has horrible CGs... that is indeed a nice bracelet, gen glossy dial from "rhondalm" im assuming...
alligoat Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Trim those grown guards! The bracelet is beautiful, but it's at least 10 years older than the dial. Aging the hands a little to get them closer to the dial would also help. But this will be a great beater to wear everyday, especially since you don't want to wear your red sub everyday, it's too valuable. Come to think of it, the 9315 bracelet is perfect for your red sub. Get a 93150 w/ 580 ends for this 5513 and you're good to go.
flex Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 nice looking watch. I will have the hands relumed to match the patina on the dial. While at it, I will also change the insert.

nakortheblue Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Crown guards, the pointy things beside the crown which err... guard the crown. What is CGs ?
