Why Do You Think The Diameters Are Different?

I've been looking, researching, and learning over the last few hours. I'm interested in the Breitling Bentley.

I found one at Andrews:

And one at Joshua:

http://perfect-clones.com/bl10017-bentley-...750-p-1220.html

Andrew is 47mm diameter

Joshua is 49 in diameter

Do you guys think one site is measuring just the face and the other the whole case?

I've emailed both but haven't received an answer yet.

Thanks!

It's possible than one is measured in the standard way, 8:00-2:00, across the case. The other has been measured to include the crown/pushers. Other than that, I have no idea why there would be a difference.

They're using a cloth measuring tape.........piece of string......thumb and forefinger.......nose to elbow.......!

Remember.....drop shipping = no held in hand = factory workers = Shitinerand = 2mm difference.....!

They don't have a set of these....!

BTW.....across the face 8-2 is NOT the standard way........that might work for a classic 'round' watch.....but not a watch that has flared lugs or a galbe case......the correct way is to pull the crown for time setting and measure directly from 9 - 3....it's the only completely accurate measure......ignore the crown.....and compensate slightly for the crown relocation space.

Perhaps one dealer is taking the crown into account and the other is not. 2mm difference may indicate that...

I definitely would not like to try winding a 2mm thick crown.....!

@feek

Methinks Neil is mixing up width and diameter

I never mix up ..width...diameter......or length....

A large DIAMETER Panerai crown measuring 3mm X 10mm is a different proposition from a 2mm X 5mm THIN crown that sits in the crown recess of most 'normal' watches......and if YOUR Panny doesn't have a 3mm crown....then you should be buying from me....:D
