krpster Posted September 30, 2010 Report Share Posted September 30, 2010 Hello all, I have had the good fortune of being assigned by my company to work in the San Francisco bay area for the past two weeks. All I can say is that those of you who live here are very lucky. It is such a beautiful and diverse area. I can see why it is famed by having ones heart left here. In any case some work colleagues and I climed up Mission peak in the Fremont area last night after work. The weather was an unseasonably warm 96 degrees with crystal clear skies. My POC and I made it up in one piece in decent time. I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story. From the bottom of the hill (near where I am working) Resting at the top (that's me by the way) The official time to ascend the peak....not bad...1:12:49 Worth the climb Just in time to catch the sunset Dark descent, a little dangerous by light of my mobile, but pure beauty all the way Can't wait to come back and do it again!
