chefcook
.... The Gen has a slightly recessed lever. ... Not always. I've seen both on gens, slightly sticking out as well as slightly recessed. The more important thing is: It does not matter in which direction the lever is uneven from the CG but it should be very slightly uneven.

mkong
Please comment on these QC pics I received from Mary. Seems to me that this CG lever is sticking out more than normal..?

chefcook
then don't buy from her. As you can see from the first picture the lever is protruding so much that it can not be sanded down without hitting the hole for the pin!
TK471
Yeah, skip that one. Buy from someone else
PeteM
then don't buy from her. As you can see from the first picture the lever is protruding so much that it can not be sanded down without hitting the hole for the pin! Thats assuming thats the cause of the problem, given how these things are built......... the other known issues could well be causing this problem
mkong
Ive already paid her. She asks for payment before sending the pics. She said she will look for another one.
ilyailya
I have one, and the only major tell i can see is: what holds the little hands, is SS looking on gen, rep those circles are black. and crown guard pin looks flat/not polished. (i think easy fix?) Uploaded with ImageShack.us any one ever sand down the metal bracelet to be less sharp on inside corners? mine is cutting my wrist a bit. I was thinking about using grinding stone etc? Edited April 14, 2011 by ilyailya
PeteM
The first release didn't have silvered sub dial pins but these can be modded. The bracelet can be sorted with grit paper and scotch brite. Gioarmani did a how to for Rolex bracelet but principle is the same. You can contact the servicer to see if you can get the chrono sorted assuming it was done in the service he should do this for you and at the same time get the pins done. You can polish the CG pin again there are how to's for this But overall just enjoy it mate, it looks great congrats
gran
Thanks for this information...250 is a great one on the SS bracelet...(only the subdials seem a little boring + all subdial pins black)
