unregistered Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Finally my 009 from M has arrived! Great deal, just Canada Post took forever and M was a real gentleman through it all. Its really quite an interesting piece. Was taken aback by the PVD when I first saw it. Ain't black black like what I've known PVD to be. A real gunmetal grey shade to it. Then changing the angle of the lightsource Compare the difference in color to the PVD buckle on the gringo Pre-V And next to its 002a brother This piece is going to get a relume by Goin, tall canon pin and of course, the WC caseback! More pics of Gringo's cognac Pre-V with sewn in flat PVD buckle. I love the buckle, sharp corners, very matte beautiful PVD. Strap is even better. I've fallen in love with Gringo's straps I'll get more shots of the strap soon
Watchmeister Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 09 looks great. Well worth the wait.
PeteM Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Now that is what I call PVD porn !! Sweet watches mate, congrats. I think you will of devalued it with that inscription on the caseback !!!
unregistered Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Posted October 18, 2010 Actually Pete, I reckon I've added significant value to it, at least for me with the new CB The stock one is crap, paper thin and wrong/bad engravings.

unregistered Posted October 31, 2010 Author Report Posted October 31, 2010 Who did that PVD for you? Looks amazing! DSN case capecoded
fishgodeep Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Fantastic looking watches both of them so congratulations! I agree on the 009 - it looks very very authentic overall - beauties Cheers FGD
Guest Sql_pl Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 DSN case capecoded Seriously? Wow, it looks really gen-like! Great result. Is it difficult not to overdo capecod on pvd? May give it a shot. Incorrect pvd was what kept me from getting a dsn pvd watch for a while...
unregistered Posted November 3, 2010 Author Report Posted November 3, 2010 It is a little too worn at some places, especially corners. But overall its great
Star69 Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 i build the same watch some time ago - looks like the twin-brother and here an other old shot cheers, Frank
