Rolexman Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Guys, I'm planning on buying a Bell & Ross from Trevor. He quotes that it runs on a 2892 movement so it made me curious on how the movement looks. Is it indeed the ETA 2892 clone (Sea-gull st18). So I started searching... and seraching...3 boards, a dozen dealer websites even Google Images and there is not a movement picture to be found. Why? Is it that hard to take the case apart? Is there anybody that can provide me a movement pic or guide me to a website that provides it? Much appreciated!
boug Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 Look here... My linkhttp://www.horlogerie-suisse.com/Complications/2892/2892-A2.html
Rolexman Posted November 9, 2010 Author Report Posted November 9, 2010 Thanks but I know how the 2892 movement looks. I just wanted to see it in one of our reps....
PeteM Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 Thanks but I know how the 2892 movement looks. I just wanted to see it in one of our reps.... I remember a couple of How Tos on taking out the movement or rather opening up and one of those was a 2892 the other was a 4813, though the poster was showing the method I recall some movement pics. I will search about but I think it was here or RG.
Justasgood Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Here is the one I pulled from My Anonimo and installed a Gen ETA2824 (BTW, the 2824 is correct for the Anonimo)
Rolexman Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Posted November 12, 2010 Thanks guys! Just what I was looking for, appreciate it.
