goodfella Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 My friend received this watch from a co worker, this is the only pic I have... Rep or not..? Thanks in advance guys, please repond promptly.
goodfella Posted September 29, 2006 Author Report Posted September 29, 2006 It screams rep at me. JTB WOW you guys are quick!!!! Thanks! Now, does anyone have pics of the original, or , what stands out to you that it's a rep...? Also, anyone ever heard of Orkina watches...?
vric Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Frank Muller would never make a watch with the balance wheel showed like that. It's a fake tourbillon and it's very easy to spot a REAL tourbillon. It's also a fake chrono (showing date instead of working chrono) Can't scream more fake than this. This one is a cheap Asian copy that you can find on watchsilix for less than $70.
goodfella Posted September 29, 2006 Author Report Posted September 29, 2006 Wellllll alrighty then, thanks guys!
jonthebhoy Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 FM have been pioneers over the years in the tourbillon market but I'm not sure they ever developed a GMT tourbillon which this effort is supposed to replicate. In any event the finish of this is very cheap looking. The face shape is not the usual FM style. The fonts are wrong and the tourbillon is of the faux variety. JTB
addingwatch Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 As everyone else has already said, there is no FM close to this rep. This is a really bad one that screams "FAKE". Regards.
Goochenbrau Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 My friend received this watch from a co worker, this is the only pic I have... Rep or not..? Thanks in advance guys, please repond promptly. Was the co workers claiming this is gen?
Starbug Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 That picture looks as if it's from ebay.
Richard Tracy Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 I think the Term 'Replica' is too strong for that thing...
