I'm having a problem with luming a pair of FGD hands. I am using a mix of plaster of paris, which I tint, and mix with some lume. It works perfect on the dial and mimics tritium very well. I tried the same mix on the hands, it applies just fine, but is too thin and brittle when it dries. What can I use to lume the hands? Would mixing the dry plaster and lume with some lacquer work?

Thanks.

I am giving the plaster/lume mix another try. I think I can make it work. If that doesn't, I will try the varnish. I knew lacquer wasn't right :)
