jblair083 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Share Posted December 4, 2010 Dropped my BM rep with a7750 onto a hard surface. When I picked it up, I noticed that it had stopped. Sounds like the rotor is spiinning freely inside. Any ideas of how much damage I caused and cost to fix? Also any idea of rep-friendly watchsmith in in the Northern NJ/NYC area? plaifender Posted December 4, 2010 Report Share Posted December 4, 2010 my friend dropped his GEN tag Carrera on his bathroom floor. A 3 foot drop and his SWISS 7750 has stopped. He's got to pay to get it repaired now. I had sent in my A7750 for a cleaning/service and had to get a new part i think all in all it was under 200 bucks. I would send a PM to the trusted/recommended people here and ask if they would be willing to schedule you in and what kind of time frame you would be looking at. sucks when that happens. I recently was taking off a watch to put it by the bed and I must have been a little too tired because it fell on to the floor and I was hoping it didn't do anything to it and I lucked out, no damage. I heard all the major brands were at his doorstep willing to pay muchos $$$ for the patent but he refused to give it up. Instead he made his own watch. Look here for the video!
