Now, I'm not sure if it's suppose to be like this, but usually in my automatic watches that I have owned in the past they had a rotor which you could "feel" spinning when you would strike the watch against your hand. plaifender Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 Technically, you shouldn't feel anything.. This means that your rotor is nice and balanced! If the watch is working, then nothing is wrong.. Secondly.... you shouldn't be "striking" your rep at all with your hand. Furu Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 Isn't it a good sign that you've got a smooth and noiseless movement? And another thing - your new movement is bi-directional that means that is winds in both directions, therefore it won't free wheel when you flick it.
