What don't dealer sell parts?

If you are talking about case parts, the dealers can get them most of the time.

if you are talking about movement parts, the movement manufacturers aren't set up to supply any parts, and won't set up parts departments, so no parts will be available for Chinese movements unless there is a change in the thinking.

This is a continuing source of aggravation, however it all stems from the very low prices being charged for complete new movements.

because many of these dealers are just "sellers" of watches for the factories that make them...these guys like Josh and Andrew are just the marketing front end...they do not stock parts....

yeah, they may be able to have the factory send you a case set, a strap or bracelet.....but not a movement, or a crown or a dial or crystal......it's not happening cause it's too much of a hassle for them.

if you want a crystal....most likely you have to purchase a whole case set.....that's if they sell the case set...or get from parts guys like Jackson Tse

You hit the nail on the head there. If you are a steady customer the dealer will make an effort to keep you coming back. Dealers make very little on parts and they are probably a pain to get, so unless you have a history with them, forget it.

Exactly, most dealers will bend over backwards to help a good and reliable customer. But If you have no history or have done very little business with said dealer, forgetaboutit.
