concepta
Have anyone put a gen Explorer 1 dial in a rep case? If so what movement were used?
ubiquitous
Not a gen dial in a rep case, but I have fitted a gen dial in a gen 16200 case: Fitted with a 2824-2... Since the gen case set came complete, the crown, crystal and bezel all have the benefit of being gen as well. Fairly easy build to do, especially if you have one of stilty's rings... alligoat
When you have a rep case, the rep dial needs to be around 28mm. If the rep dial is 29mm, a gen dial probably won't fit in the case. A rep case typically is engineered for a 2836-2 or the DG2813 movement. rosnik
I suggest (IMO ): best is to find a rare 12892 Eta ( so you not need movement spacer )it's same that 2892 but same 3135 Rolex calibre . Not: Domi, in my DJ used GEN dial feet to fix dial too.
