urbanshogun
My dealer could not get it on the rubber strap. Did anyone buy it on the leather strap the factories made? What is it like? should I order a new one now or is it OK? here is one of my QC pics btw Edited January 16, 2011 by urbanshogun

Mickey Padge
so the leather is nice quality? You have the pics, not us, do you like the strap!? You can always buy more, that's how PAM's work However in the pic you posted the strap looks nice, no crappy fake croc "print" or similar Who are you buying from? urbanshogun
i am buying it from marvellousreplica here are the other pics he sent showing the strap Edited January 16, 2011 by urbanshogun
prdubis
Panerai never produced OEM straps like these, so the Officine Panerai printing is wrong, but it looks much better than usual rep straps. I am going to receive my 219 on this kind of strap. Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk

Thanks for the comments guys, it looks like I can hold of on ordering a custom BTW how easy are these to waterproof? prdubis
Leather straps are not waterproof, except seal and shark leathers, and of course Kodiak treated ones... You should apply mink oil of them but it darkens light leathers...

hubrisin
The usual comments, crown spacing and wrong movement finishes but other than that it looks like a solid piece.

urbanshogun
nice. I received it today, and I have to say that the leather is very nice, if a bit stiff. but it has already started to soften up and i've only been wearing it for an hour or so. Having said that, the only other rep leather I have to compare it to came with a faux chrono planet ocean and was fake orange alligator. This strap is lightyears ahead of that one.
