jmb
I finally found a collection of parts that would fit together so this morning I decided to see if I could make a watch out of 'em. I had picked up a rep Tudor Princess 23.5mm case a while back and wasn't really pleased with the rep dial I put in it so it went into the box. A few weeks ago I saw a gen Tudor 2671 movement and dial on fleabay so I snagged it thinking it would fit in the regular Ladies DJ size case but much to my surprise it was meant for the smallish case. After swapping some parts around I wound up with the gen dial and movement fitting perfectly into the rep case. The dial and movement are about the same diameter and no spacer ring is needed to secure the dial/movement assembly into the case and the proportions are nice, right down to the 11mm bracelet. Here's a few pics... Here's the engine: And to the outside...
ubiquitous
Fantastic build! The ladies' models don't get a lot of air time on the forums... Mrs. Ubi's DJ has been collecting some dust in the project drawer. It's been a sort of long-term-and-forgotten project that I've set on the side lines. One day I'll get around to it...
