It says movement is 8215 - meaning Myota - not high end movement, but definitely great, reliable, "workhorse" movement. I have seen Citizen divers with this movement running 10+ years without even being opened, let alone serviced, being used and abused daily, and still running inside 10 secs-a-day. So, if you look markups in rest of watch industry this is not so high price. I've seen huge fugly 7750-based Invicta, with design elements taken from Zenith Defy Extreme (equally ugly in my book) in one local shop going for almost 4000 Euros - and people were buying... regards
