Planet ocean links are NOT easy to remove. If you have no experience at all with resizing bracelets, I'd take the watch to a generic place that works with watches (NOT AN authorized dealer!) and ask them to take out some links for you. I have a 6.75 wrist.. and I had to take out 3 or 4 links but i kept the "half" link.

2 links and the half link for me.

Oh and if you do it yourself, or even if the the mall guy does it. I've found the best method is to size them WITHOUT removing the bracelet from the lugs. Un-pin the clasp and remove links while still attached.

On my PO chrono, the bracelet comes on and off nicely, once curved endlinks were fitted. On my UPO, the bracelet never went on again after coming off, and i've had two different watchsmiths try, and spent at least 6 hours myself trying hehe.

They are indeed a complete pig to get the bracelet on and off the lugs, but sizing shouldn't be too hard for someone who half knows what they are doing!

Just don't let him take the bracelet off!!

Sixx :bones:

I wondered if anyone had posted a tutorial on removing UPO links, but couldn't find anything.

Anyone fancy putting one together? Could be invaluable to people like myself who like to attempt relatively simple tasks.

I took the bracelet off once and I will never take It off again, total pain In the a$$. Good thing I like the PO on the ss bracelet anyways. Just remeber to remove the links from the clasp. When I was new I tried removing the links from the lugs and ruined the bracelet :bangin:
