I think the crystal is pretty good quality and accurate to gen. It's definitely sapphire since my dremel strip isn't scratching it. The AR just sucks big time. It'll be making a trip to the chief as soon as he does another run. In the end, I think it'll be a pretty nice crystal.
mjmurphy926 Posted February 13, 2011 Author Report Posted February 13, 2011 So I stripped the AR from the 111J crystal and it looked pretty damn good...until it was in direct sun light. The crystal doesn't seem to be crystal clear when the sun is hitting it at certain angles. It looks kind of foggy ...almost like there are tiny bubbles in the crystal. I've never seen this before on other crystals. Is that normal and I've just never seen it?

Thanks Serg...I gotta find one of the Big/Matt crystals. I have a DSN that was ARd by chief. It's a very nice crystal, but it is slightly pink. I want a really nice white sapphire crystal to send to chief.
