  1. RG's policy regarding member projects, and asking money up front for the project. I would be interested Edge
  2. I don't know why no one answered your question, but 17 days later I will answer by saying, NO, it is not repped! Sorry.
  3. Why?, how do you know if this guy has a good economic position, some of us rep collectors have a profession or a good economical position in which you can expect the watch in question to be GEN, you cannot generalize just because he is posting in a replica forum. Or he could be a guy that travels to dangerous places and wants to have a rep in case he gets mugged or something, these are things you cannot know. I say purchase based on 2 things, the watch you like, and the closest to GEN possible to really enjoy this Hobby!
  4. That is because The Zigmeister modified the Logo with the missing Lume in between the A and the P. Makes the difference!
  5. Just found out something, the 111J and the EL have to sharp edges on the pillow case (where the lugs meet the case) these need to be rounded out and reshaped as well, already did that reshaping and I am really satisfied with the results, so I will post pictures of that later on!
  6. Yes sir, not changed, but I used a Dremel and a grinder to remove the hex shape and make it round, also it needs to be reworked so it can fit a T48 crown, so quite a bit needs to be taken off so it could fit. Ultimately, a custom tube has to be made for it to fit a T48 crown properly, DSN crown tubes are to small for the 111j case tube hole. And the Neck of the T48's are too small for the 111J crown tube, but with patience, you can make it fit properly, but to date, this is the best PreV case, considering a EL case is hard to find, and not to mention a Premium to pay for one (think 500USD+)!!! Compare the look: Gen (used the above pic) And mine
  7. You need to file the lugs down for them to look fatter, shorter and stubbier, didn't take pictures of the before reshaping, but I took off like almost 1mm off each lug to make it look like this!
  8. +1 Totally Gen in appearance, feel and the Dial looks amazing with the BC Matt or otherwise known as the C3 crystal!
  9. Ok so here is a great answer for you: Jimmy Fu cases are incorrect for PreV, they have long shaped Lugs, which are corect for A-F series, not PreV, EL and the 111j Case are the best out there, but I have to say, 111J is better because the bezel height is incorrect on the EL case (it is a little thicker) and you don't need to play with it. However, the 111J case needs to be reshaped a little, here is mine with a little reshaping: Also the Crown I am using is a T48, however, PreV pam crowns are a little thicker, so a Palp crown would be your best bet! So your list would have to look like this CASE: 111J reshaped, EL, Old Helenarou,(Eliminate the others here please!) DIAL: FGD, DSN HANDS: FGD, DSN CRYSTAL: BigCrown, Cartel 177, 219 or 005k crystal, DSN's is still foggy, and not OEM thickness! CG: LH, V, TB/WSO, (Eliminate DSN CG please) CROWN: PALP, T48 CASEBACK:Jakob, DSN BUCKLES: Rolexfinder (he no longer makes PreV, but you can source them around) STRAPS: Dirk, MP Pav90 There you go!
  10. No, how about YOU do some research and realize that cape codding DLC will actually "darken it". No offense Chief, but I think AR is your thing! Here is a thread just so you don't think I am just making this up!
  11. Also, what is that texture that looks weird on the edge of the bezel, is it dirty or did a gasket melt? or just me?
  12. I thought that only applied to PVD (the cape codding) what effect does that do to the DLC application.
  13. You still didn't answer my question Roli, You just mentioned the different processes, which doesn't clarify anything, the fact of the matter is that your DLC coating is too dark, looks more PVD, don't mean to thread crap here, just wish you could do the different process to make it look grayish and truer to gen, otherwise it just looks very similar to DSN just in DLC instead of PVD, and when side to side with gen, you will see a big difference, and in my circle of friends, there are 3 gen 360's, so that is not an option. Just look at Bob's pictures to realize that, the radiomir is spot on, please don't take this personal, trying to make you offer a better product. After all, that is why you posted here correct?
  14. Am I the only one that thinks this is too dark?, it should have a pencil lead look, grayish tone to it. Look at B's Gen!
  15. The question here is, if you make a different case, then maybe we cannot have transplants, movement and pushers wise! Makes it complicated.
  16. The color looks off because the rep isn't DLC, it is actually PVD, but you can cape cod the case and make it look lighter, same as the PVD pams, make the pencil lead look with cape cod. Same for the screws. Now the dial is a whole different story, not much you can do there. But this is a great rep nonetheless. Awesome pictorial!
  17. Guys, The fact that a good case is extinct, and PreV cases are hot right now, I took it upon me to have a Proper case made, maybe for Prev and even for Modern ones, already contacted the Machining companies that are close to me, and waiting for a quote on them, so gauging interest to see if I can do a group order of cases, or maybe just have my own custom PreV prototype, so this is going good, so far the quote will be based on pictures, if the price is good, I would need a donor case, if someone want to join me in letting me borrow one or selling me a good PreV case, then let's do it!!!!
  18. wow, simply amazing, I on the other hand am looking for a shop which can do the CNC, wolf, can you let me know the specs, I work with a lot of factories in Mexico, which can be lower in cost as well, I am starting my quest for the factory but need to know what kind of specs the factory needs to be able to do the process, once I find it, then we can see the costs and how it looks!!! Let me know!
  19. Out of all of them I think the Montoya is your best option!
  20. Astro, you need to make that pearl on the ice Black!
  21. Well what do you want, you want the best quality, or best price? I always buy from Josh @ Perfect Clones, trusted dealer here! He is not the cheapest, but certainly the best in terms of service, QC, and solving problems if your watch gets lost, seized, dead on arrival ETC. Now V1 is the best in terms of movement quality (high beat 28.8k like gen) and I have had mine for over 2 years, some for over a year, and they haven't been serviced and run great! That tells you a lot about reliability! In terms of finish, V1's are closer from the front than the V2's, but visually and just visually, the movement from the V2's are better, but answer your self this: do you want to wear your watch inside out? I would start with a V1 if you really like Hublot, if you just want to try it out to see if you like it, then get a V2, ask Josh as he carries both factories. BTW, V1 and V2 is only our way to identify the factories, it used to be Best Factory and not so Best Factory until we labeled them V's, V1, the best, V2, not so the best, V3 the one on Bracelet, low quality, and low AR, but a nice watch. V4, produces the high beat King Power and the Full ceramic Ayrton Senna. V5 the newest great factory, which produce the Bode Bang, and the upcoming 2 new models! Hope that helps!
  22. Well, you do get what you pay for in the rep game as well, So your best option is to buy from the cartel Josh carries these both models The last picture looks like it is from Angus, and the lite model (with no AR) is not available anymore, but the full ultimate is. If quality and finish is what you are looking for, then go V1 (best factory) and you won't regret it! The V2's (the cheaper low beat version) of these two models kind of suck in terms of finish (plus, the white ceramic one is only available from the best factory)
  23. Jajajajajaja, does it really sound like that, no, I am excited I helped with the creation of this watch!!!! And was so excited we never looked at this detail on the dial, we just looked in the pictures that it was functioning well, keeping good time, the screws were tight, it had a WR test done, and never looked at the dial so closely, now we laugh at it, and Josh took care of having this corrected already, so you should not receive a watch like this one, order away!!! And this just means the next to come will be amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously guys, the finish on this makes me cry, finally I hold a HBB and feel that is Gen, it feel really tight, I know that sounds funny, but it look tighter, like it can withstand anything! AJAJAJAJA
  24. Josh, has this watch!!!!! This was QC'd and personally inspected by Josh @perfect Clones, great service, quick and the watch arrived in less than a week, like always and in the Best packaging possible! All I can say is: WOOOOWWWW!
