Martyd3 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 That's not a real iPod in it. I am off to Best Buy now
redwatch Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 That's definitely one of the nicer nano kits I have seen yet. Can you use PAM straps on it
Ztech Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Wow, that is cool! Where can you buy one of those? And thanks for sharing!
Martyd3 Posted February 4, 2011 Author Report Posted February 4, 2011 Here you go. This was a Kickstarter project. It was very cool watching (no pun intended ) it progress. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1104350651/tiktok-lunatik-multi-touch-watch-kits http://lunatik.com/
Ztech Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Thanks Marty. I just found all the info via google. I'm ordering the Luna tik as we speak and going to pick up an ipod nano! All thanks to you buddy! Now something else to add to the "long" list...
Martyd3 Posted February 4, 2011 Author Report Posted February 4, 2011 I'm not really an iPod guy, but I had to have one. There's been talk about headphone mod in development for it. I will use it with the Nike/iPod sport kit and as a watch of course http://www.apple.com/ipod/nike/
Ztech Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Okay Marty, you've got me hooked. What's this headphone mod and where can I get more info???!!!
Martyd3 Posted February 4, 2011 Author Report Posted February 4, 2011 I think it's still under development ...
asf Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Looking great man! Def +1 if you can do Pam straps
subbiesrock Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 This has ben discussed in a previous thread while the Kickstarter program was still active. The lug width is 28mm, Donerix was developing some straps for use with the iPod nano, and I'm sure he's getting onto this as well... Might be worthwhile for all our strapmakers to investigate making some custom leather straps for this one

subbiesrock Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 You double clicked Mate I posted about four times, stupid IPhone and stupid Internet
krpster Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 I'm not really an iPod guy, but I had to have one. Me too. Mine is enroute. Once in my hands I will make the call whether to get an ipod and keep it or just sell it.
Martyd3 Posted February 4, 2011 Author Report Posted February 4, 2011 Not sure what I am doing with mine either. I don't own the iPod yet. Cart before the horse, huh?
krpster Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Yup. Something like that When I saw the kickstarter post I thought it was a neat product idea and deserved some backing. Although in the end they really didn't need my contribution. I just thought the whole idea was pretty cool. So now one enroute and it's fate with me undecided. How does it feel on the wrist?
Martyd3 Posted February 4, 2011 Author Report Posted February 4, 2011 It's big, but fits my 7.5" wrist fine and it's very light without the nano installed. The strap is good, but now great. It seems a little funky (but, not too bad) and seems to be a dust collector. I am not wild about the peg to hold down the strap tail. It works, but It would have been nice if they included a regular keeper (loop) with the strap.
